Social Site / Social Sculpture

Over the weekend ‘Your Universe – Brisbane City’ has become a social site. The inside of the sculpture has been used for a variety of impromptu activities including: meetings by small community groups, chanting & meditation, yoga, wedding photos, napping and anniversary celebrations.  

Super Structures

‘Your Universe – Brisbane City’ 2011 is currently being assembled. During Thursday 8th and Friday 9th September the structure will be levered together and raised. The final work will become an upward extension of the site and part of Brisbane’s architecture.

PAARTS is gearing up for the installation of ‘Your Universe’ at the Brisbane Powerhouse. Attendance is free and the event will be running from the Saturday the 10th September to Monday the 12th September. Look at the universe and let the universe look back. More details here
